Immigrant Settlement And Adaptation Program - ISAP

a. The clients - all Conventional Refugees, Landed Immigrants, and Live-in Caregivers in Parkdale community will receive direct, front-line services from our counsellors who are experienced in community-based works. The counsellors will help clients with the intake process, evaluate client needs and provide settlement and adaptation services to clients as required.

b. Our services are provided in English, Hindi, Polish, Tamil, Tibetan, Vietnamese, and Chinese. We do interpretation and translation to clients as required.

c. Because of English is the main language in Toronto, we welcome clients enrolling to our LINC classes or we can refer them to English Classes in GTA area.

d. Our counsellors will provide link between clients with other specific settlement resources in the community, social services, professional services and government programs. We can help them filling government forms such as Sponsorship, Citizenship, Permanent Resident, OHIP, Employment Insurance, etc; We supply information on government assistant programs such as Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support Program, Housing, etc. or endow with information and referral to Community resources
