Parkdale Intercultural Association offers Free Citizenship Preparation Classes

At PIA, we offer Citizenship Preparation Classes to our clients who are Conventional Refugees, Landed Immigrants, and Live-in Caregivers. As required, those people must pass the Canadian citizenship test, which is administered by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).
All questions in the citizenship test are mutliple-choice question about Canada, that are based on the Canada's history, geography and political system.
To serve our clients better in preparing for the test, we offer:
- Languages provided in:
- Sessions (days): six (6) sessions
- Time: Wednesdays, from 3:00 pm to 5 pm
All citizenship classes are
FREE and cover topics such as:
- Canadian geography
- Canadian economics
- Canadian history
- Canadian government (3 levels)
- Voting in Canada
- Rights and responsibilities of citizen
- Canadian culture and symbols
- Current events
If you are eligible to receive our service, please visit our website regularly to find out when we have any citizenship classes. The spaces in each citizenship class are usually limited, thus, you should register as soon as possible.
